Retired. Self-taught artist. My hands are pretty "banged-up" so I cannot draw lines very well. About 11 years ago I decided to try pointillism, I fell in love with it. I am not a very patient person and yet I am "drawn-to-it", just a wee pun. I find it to be very theraputic and I often will work through the night. I work under a lighted magnifying lens and will spend approximately 150-300 hours on a single drawing. I once logged over 1000 hours on a killer whale only to damage it a few weeks later.
