Artist Statement:
Eric Grandall has been
producing, constructing,
organizing, re-organizing,
painting, painting over,
massaging the imagination,
taking liberties, taking
pictures, working things out,
working through things (some
to no end), reading scribbled
found notes from the street,
intersecting the attitude
between what is real and the
relationships to realness,
instructing progression of 8
hr events (Monument, San
Diego, October 23, 1999),
introducing the world to a
very short lived email program
(SuparLady 2000)w/ Raymond
Collins, constructing poems
from childrens books and James
Joyce's Finnegans Wake(16
WORDER, Accentuals, Repeater
Greeter, Telepathy), and
showing paintings - mostly -
at various locals in San
Diego, with hopes of
situational pieces planed for
Polermo, Bombay, Taipei.
