Artist Statement:
My craft designs are elaborate with hidden objects or intricate designs waiting to be seen. Process is essential to my work and begins with the medium of paper. I use a unique form of decoupage working with handmade papers and an assemblage of found objects. I like symmetry in my work and often balance size, shape, and color with pattern, and texture. I love to have fun with my designs and enjoy working with clients to create custom pieces for their special occasions. I continue to create my work with exuberance as it is a nice respite from the constraints of formal teachings as the possibilities are endless in multimedia. The evolution of my line continues, as I am currently designing bottle cap art with genuine gemstones, handmade papers, and charms that can also be turned into necklaces.

| Your Personal Biography |
I love making unusual, colorful, distressed, Old World, useful, Victorian, Gothic......Art. Through years of encouragement and my hard earned BA in Visual Arts, practice, a bad economy and more encouragement I started my own crafting business with my friend Lee Taylor. Thumbprintz.. The name came about by mistakes, as all truly special things do; While working, we would be up to our elbows in paint, ink and glue, inevitably leaving a fingerprint on our new creation. Since we both share a love of the vintage and the distressed, if it works, why not roll with it?
So check us out on etsy.com store name : Thumbprintz, we are adding new creations daily. Also please keep an eye out for us as Connecticut Arts and Crafts fair seasons get under way- we'll try to get to as many as possible
