Artist Statement:
My intent as an artist is to create beauty. I try to express the beauty I see through my eyes and represent it either on silk or in oil paintings. The feeling of the art is all important to me. I try to create a mood and enhance it by the use of color. I consider color to be my strongest point. I desire to share what I see with the world and as a result, create happiness....

| Biggest Artistic Inspiration |
My Aunt Mabel who graduated from the Chicago Art Institute and was a sculptress. Everytime I went to her house for dinner I caressed her sculpture, "Ruby" and knew I wanted to do art. I went with Aunt Mabel and my mother to the Chicago Art Institute Museum when I was three and thought I had died and gone to heaven. I knew I wanted to be an artist. |
