Christoph Gabriel Gottel started making photographs from his age of 7. He simply loved to take out scenes of glamour from the world around him. From dazzling sunlight behind parachutes to mushrooms bursting out of the ground and soaring up into the sun... He was not aware of what he was doing - conceptualy. His art had just been looking as fun, as a play with beauty.
Only decades later when he learned how to include and harmonize the environment into the picture and to compose the content of a photograph in a special intuitively achieved harmonious, but highly ordered arrangement... |
