Enrique Chiu, born in the city of Guadalajara Jalisco, Mexico, to study entry and Audiovisual Arts Design and Law in this city, shortly after traveling to Los Angeles where he continued his studies in Graphic Design, Art, Painting, Photography, Electricity , Welding, Marketing and Business schools in Long Beach and Santa Ana California, where he resides for 15 years.
Accepted by people as a figure of the arts in the Latino Community, is considered one of the artists recognized in the area of Los Angeles and one of the initiators to promote artistic development in several communities in southern California and some localities, such as United States, Argentina, Mexico, El Salvador, Peru, Spain and the Middle East.
Art Directo of C1D Gallery in the Art District of Long Beach, California since 2003, during which time has shown different forms of art, conducting and preparing samples for other artists.
Founder of NFIA (National Foundation of Independent Artists) since 2006, where he worked with more than 30 local and international artists and which enjoys the patronage of important people and institutions of government, to carry out art exhibits, charity events and profit in United States and Mexico.
Galleries Coordinator of IMAC (Municipal Institute of Art and Culture in Tijuana) in charge of direction and coordination of exhibitions of artists to exhibit in the three Institutes and offices of culture in the municipality of Tijuana, where he currently resides.
He has exhibited in various group exhibitions, shared and individual, to receive endorsements for their works in magazines, newspapers and news media of repute, while at courses and seminars conducted within the foundation in the works.
Doing shows in some U.S. states such as: Manhattan, New York, Atlanta, Georgia, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Long Beach, Santa Ana, San Pedro, Hollywood, Pomona, and some cities in California, in the field we have to international cities such as Mexico and this might be Tijuana, Ensenada, Mexicali and Guadalajara. With more than 250 international exhibitions.
Some of his paintings are permanently exhibited in museums such as MOLA (Museum of Latin American Art) in Long Beach, and MONA (Museum of Neon Art) in Los Angeles. In addition to receiving invitations to the Museum of San Salvador in El Salvador, Panama (Central America). Galleries in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Zapopan, Tlaquepaque, Nayarit, Oaxaca and Yucatan. (Mexico). |
