Every piece I do is with the
hope that the Masters -
from Michelangelo to
Rauschenberg - would have a
kind
word or two to say about it.
Beyond that, I thank God every
day for Beethoven, Respighi,
Sinatra; Dante, Twain, Mailer;
Huston, Fellini, Altman;
and for letting me love
butterflies, Hungarian
cuisine,
grand prix racing, children's
laughter, etc... ...
