Artist Statement:
I like to work in series exploring the numerous possibilities offered by the computer. Without digital technology my work (creation) would be limited because all scanned images, once inside the computer, are resized, the colors changed, put through filters and generally rearranged and reorganized to express my vision in a way which the final creation could only be possible if using digital assistance. Even my traditional artwork is photographed, scanned and transformed into digital art. New works are then originated from the scanned photos. One challenge after another. Therefore, I enjoy working with SERIES because it amplifies the range of aesthetics decisions and gives me a greater chance to explore and go beyond the software’s limitations. The process of exploring the possibilities of aesthetics results during the creation of each image is very enriching.

| Why Did You Become An Artist |
I did not become an artist, I was born an artist!
Besides that, I became an artist the day I created a work and the "Art World" accepted it as "an art form" and I started to exhibit my creations, one after another. I got addicted after the Computer Era boomed. |
