Artist Statement for Eva Ruth Nechemia

Was born in Romania, came to Israel in the early 60's. All my life I painted, studied Art History, learned with some painters, in some museums (Jerusalem and Haifa). I am using different medias with different subjects. The subject must be something that catches my eyes and my heart. The last year I am painting in acrylic, in a new style for me, the new paintings are not yet listed. I add different materials to the paintings and call it the 3rd dimension of EVA RUTH. Had an exhibition with this new style in June 2006. The curator of the exhibition was the artist Aviva Shemer. I and Ofir Nave had an exposition in Chagall House in Haifa from 7.2.2007-27.2.2007, the name was- Agada vehalom .(myth and dream)
