FRANCO'S STORY
GOOD CAN COME FRO ADVERSITY (CHILDHOOD)
At 3 years of age, Franco fell several stories, landing on his head and leaving him in a coma for a month with a swollen head. Everyone seemed to give up hope for Franco except for Franco.
JOURNEY TO NEW YORK AND THE BEGINNING OF SUCCESS
In 1958, Franco came to New York with his brushes and his palette and a pocket full of dreams and landed in Harlem and his desire was to bloom where he was planted and so he did.
HARLEM GATES
In the streets of Harlem and around the world Franco has become the Picasso of Harlem for his work on the store fronts and his contribution to Harlem.
FRANCO TODAY
On most Sundays, you can find Franco on 125th Street greeting tourists. HIs joy is making his community a more pleasant place through his artwork and the warmth that he displays for everyone. Franco has received many invitations to paint wall murals in other countries. Franco has received many awards and has been in many publications and books.
