| Your Personal Biography |
Laynee’s art comes out of her own experiences, social taboos and an overactive imagination. Many of her works are inspired by real events. Many of her pieces are sorrowful introspections on events in her own life.
Laynee is originally from Chicago. She moved to Missouri in 1993 to attend Southeast Missouri State. In 1997, she moved to St. Louis to continue her education at Saint Louis University.
Regardless of how serious or dark many of her pieces are, she is not above creating light or humorous pieces for the people that she loves. (For Lindsey and For the Diva). She has done a number of pieces “on request”.
She has sold her works here in the United States as well as overseas in Ireland, Great Britain and Germany.
Laynee’s medium is mixed, using acrylics spray paints, wax glue and paper.
