Artist Statement:
Oscar Wilde once said, ‘We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.’ I can relate to that feeling of awe at the mysterious beauty of the stars, out of the reach of us mortals caught up in our earthly tribulations. I'm searching for the same light and spirit in my paintings--an effort that will keep me painting for some time. You can visit me at my blog http://dailyartdiary.blogspot.c om for updates on paintings I’m working on and my ongoing creative inspirations. Thanks for looking.

| Biggest Artistic Inspiration |
I would love to be able to express my personal feelings about life, the world, etc. in my artwork. I realize there is nothing new under the sun, so trying for something truly original is self-defeating, but I'd like for my work to at least satisfy me. I'm working on that. |

| Why Did You Become An Artist |
Striving to create art, while frustrating, is a life-long passion. I'm not sure where it comes from, but I'd probably need therapy to get rid of it. |

| Your Personal Biography |
Aside from an art degree in painting from the University of Central Florida and a number of my paintings in private collector's hands, including an Einstein portrait at Princeton, I'm a clean slate. I'd like to add your name to my collector's list, though. :-) |
