Artist Statement for Gretchen Osowski

|
I grew up the grandaughter of a gifted folk artist. My grandmother was amazingly talented and my home is filled with her work. She has been a great inspiration for me. She always encouraged my art. I am greatful for that. I paint because it's fun, and gratifying. I am an inpatient person, and for me I like the instant reward I receive from each brush stroke.
The most potent muse of all is our inner child.
