Why Did You Become An Artist I love to create, takeing a simple object and bring it to life as a thing of beauty.
 
Your Personal Biography Gerald Sandau, a late bloomer in the visual art world, has emerged with a natural talent that leaves his peers in awe. Realistic, finely detailed, three dimensional sculptures in stone; chlorite, soapstone, alabaster and wonderstone (perypholite). In demand Internationaly, Gerald creates original, one of a kind, still-life sculptures of our unique and wonderful North American wildlife. He also feels a bond with the First Nations Forefathers of our great nations in their reverence with Nature, and enjoys creating effigies of the proud historical Native leaders.
