| Biggest Artistic Inspiration |
Baroque, Salon Academics, Hudson River School, John Singer Sargent, etc. These styles and others remind us that no matter what style we choose to work in, there should always be an attempt to develop and maintain credible drawing and painting skills, to sharpen one's "eye", and strive to constantly improve one's technical prowess. Then, and only then, with this strict paradigm, do we earn the right to finally break from traditional values and pursue the metaphysics of our own heart. Otherwise the term "artist" can apply to anyone, including scammers who are long on imagination and short on talent. |

| Why Did You Become An Artist |
Art is a compulsion and complete necessity. You don't choose it. It chooses you. It's not about money or anything logical. It's about being able to self-actualize, to communicate, to nurture an inexplicable desire inside... |
