Edward Kinnally, an artist
with multiple awards and
accolades, merges his
technical background,
creativity and love of art to
produce unique and
eye-catching works in the
rapidly expanding field of
digital art.
His art is a true
give-and-take between what he
attempts to accomplish and
what the evolving piece 'lets'
him do. When he tries to push
the art in one direction it
often responds differently and
pulls him in another. The art
itself surprises and directs
him into the visual result
rather than accepting any
initial concepts. And so he
lets himself go and the art
takes over and the evolution
excites, surprises and amazes
even him. Usually when he sits
down to create a work of art
he has no notion of the end
result. He simply starts, he
lets his imagination fly, he
seeks and experiments, and the
artwork comes into life
through his creative
responses. He says "It
literally directs me down the
path to completion. And it is
a path filled with wonderment
and possibilities!"
