Artist Statement:
Gil is a self-taught artist who began painting at a very young age. With every new painting he strives to bring the colors in his head to life. His art is not confined to any one medium; he is simply fascinated by the energy surrounding each of nature’s creations, and brings that fascination to his work. Gil believes that art is not meant to be explained or narrated. He believes that his art will set his audience free of preconceived notions of right or wrong, and allow them to embrace a personal interpretation to every creation that is beyond words....

| Your Personal Biography |
Born in Tel-Aviv, Israel to a modest family, I was raised in a traditional Jewish environment. MY paternal grandparents are Polish and lived in Germany during World War II, where most of my father's family died in the Holocaust.
My mother was born in Ethiopia and immigrated to Israel as a young girl.
I have traveled Throughout Europe during my teen aged years before moving to New York City at the age of 19.
My experiences have brought my to see that the world is so big and people's differences are endless.
I live by the idea that although in the eternal scheme of things we seem small, we are also powerful, unique, and irreplaceable, as are all our fellow humans everywhere in the world. I Work and create in Brooklyn, NY.
