| Your Personal Biography |
Born in South Africa, currently living in England,
Bruce Marks has been working at the London Glassblowing Workshop for the past five years.
His recent trip home, to South Africa has been a major inspiration, and has, no doubt, had a marked effect on the evolution of his work. The scars and carvings he introduces to the surfaces and the earthy, coarse colours are undeniably an echo of his African heritage.
Each piece is created with great care and passion, in the endeavor to create objects that are distinctive and of exceptional quality.
His pieces belong in collections throughout the world, enjoyed by many.
