Artist Statement:
Like many people I am
desorientated by our
contemporary society that is
in a state of deep change. It
sees its old institutions
trembling, its former
ideologies crumbling, its
beliefs and traditionnal
values being destroyed. At the
same time the number of heavy,
menacing threats serves to
increase the areas of
desolation.
I let my imagination range
across these deserted
landscapes. They appear cut
off, deserted, polluted,
dominated, under surveillance
or cast adrift.
Inhuman spaces ? I'm not sure.
In effect, if you look closely
at certain photographs there
seems to appear a human spark
of reconquest...

Welcome to Bernard Muller's Portfolio.
Like many people I am desorientated by our contemporary society that is in a state of deep change.
