Artist Statement:
I was born in Cambodia, a land
of ancient temples and
traditions.
As children, a couple of my
many brothers and sisters and
I started drawing and coloring
like my father. He enjoys
painting in india ink and
watercolor.
I moved to France and lived in
this land of Romantism and
Renaissance for ten years,
completing a scientific
degree.
Now in America, in the sunny
Silicon Valley of California,
I made painting and other
artistic design my full time
occupation.
I specialize mostly in oil
painting of landscape, still
life, portrait, and subjects
of Asian inspiration.
In 2002, I was awarded a DASB
art award for an oil painting
on cardboard and wood called
"Opening a Gate."...
