Artist Statement:
Creating works based on precolumbian legends and aesthetics.
Methaphysics, and research in mexican artisans work.
Researching thru mythical Aztec and Mayan points of view, influenced by Goyas, Carlos Castaneda, Octavio Paz and Sor Juana Ines De La Cruz work and daring to create from precolumbian ideas where women werent able to paint and create arts since it was forbidden for them.
My statement would be to go where nobody dares to go from the Aztec underworld and Popol Vuh scripts, to new Mexican artisans work from Nayarit....
