Artist Statement:
I've been painting since I was
8 years old. My second grade
school teacher encouraged my
parents to send me to private
art lessons, which I took
until I was about 15. Since
then I have been primarily
self taught, exploring with
oils, acrylics, gouache,
watercolor, pen & ink, as well
as pencil sketching.
Recently, inspired by my
husband, Uwe, I began using
mixed media to expand my
artwork & talents. Uwe and I
work together as a team. He
is the primary photographer
and my main inspiration!...
