| Your Personal Biography |
I am an only child. My best friend was a tolerant Schnauzer named Cocoa.
Our worst enemy was Sox, the meanest cat alive.
I was born in Crosby, Minnesota.
by the age of 15 I had lived in
Houston, Texas
Emily, MN
Long Island, NY.
Happy Canyon, Colorado.
Ridgewood, New Jersey.
Brainerd, Minnesota.
On a road trip to Winnipeg my friend was driving her little yellow car down the freeway and as we whizzed by a sign that read 'University of North Dakota' I thought, 'neat sign, nice trees, I'll go there'.
University in Grand Forks, ND was fun. At hockey games my friends and I cheered for the Fighting Sioux. We spent 6 nights a week dancing at the Antique, drinking at Bonzers, Whiteys, ...and I forget where else . We froze our fingers during the winter and smoked cigs in 70 mile hour winds. I was trapped on the freeway during a blizzard, rescued by boat, thank you US Military, during the Flood & somehow managed to graduate with a BFA.
After graduation I said, 'hey professor, now that I've graduated what kind of job should I get?' he said 'you can't, go to grad school'
So I moved to Saint Paul, MN and earned a Montessori Teaching Degree.
I move to the hottest place I have ever lived to teach at Marina Montessori in Phoenix.
I attended the Art Institute of Boston and earned a degree in Illustration. I lived in Harvard Square, downtown Boston above a Taco Shop, and on West Cedar Street in Beacon Hill.
I married a sailor and moved to Brooklyn, NY . We recently moved to Imperial Beach,CA where I can see Mexico from our balcony. Scouts Honor. |
