| Your Personal Biography |
I was born in Aiud, a small town in Transylvania, Romania, in the fall of 1977. Come from a poor family which gave me no chance of artistic perspectives. However, colour and shape were for me the definition of what surrounds me. Overflows emotional drawing I have made in 1997-2000 to follow the School of Arts in Alba Iulia, department of painting and my dreams taking shape, to be more clear and decisive on the road we started in life. I gave up everything it was supposed to define me and started working as an apprentice in religious painting. For 3 years I was apprenticed to the painter Michael Minescu. These 3 years have sealed path, mode of expression since it is but one reason for kneading. Follow the same pattern painting and a canon of Orthodox churches were actually the expression of inner feelings so convinced that a search to find what I have left sites and started preparations for admission to the Academy of Arts. In 2004 I was admitted into the Academy of Visual Arts Oradea, Department of Conservation and Restoration of Painting in 2005 and painting section. I graduated in 2008. Academic period meant during training as a true artist. Artistic education helped me find answers too many questions and gave birth to ten times more. I learned so art answers to questions are born again and is materialized in the works. The complexity of the questions bothering you work as an artist gives shape and quality of the response, its value. Now there are between experiments, during which questions and sharpen me finish my questions, Carraroe, Galway, Ireland is the place that I have chosen for meditation and exercise. |
