Artist Statement:
Artists Mission Statement.
Ever since I was seven years old, I have felt a burning passion inside the deepest part of my mind, heart, conscious and unconscious. I strive and dream about humanity. Searching for a way to understand and reason
Why we evolve the way we do.
It is the only reason that makes the engine of my artistic dreams run. In my neo-figurative compositions of iconic figures, I will encourage a way for that humanity to find the essence of what makes us different.
Based on my feelings, I have chosen Mother Teresa of Calcutta to be my favorite subject. She dedicated her life to the ones no body wanted, and for that reason I have since 2003, done a portrait of her and will continue to do a portrait every year that I remain alive or able to do it. It will be my legacy.
