| Your Personal Biography |
Elen Ghulam is the Author of “Don’t Shoot! ... I have another story to tell you”. Her short stories have appeared in publications such as Geist, Adbusters, and on CBC Radio 1. She is a passionate blogger at www.ihath.com. Elen is also a Flamenco Dancer participating is various performances and offering online flamenco dance classes at http://www.gypsyrumor.com
When words get stuck and the story no longer flows, when dance movements seem pretentious and are no longer telling heart felt truths, Elen seeks refuge in painting. A childish joy is involved in the act of it: The sense of discovery when mixing different colors, the fun of playing with different brushes. A place beyond language, where silence speaks volumes in place of the steady beat of a rhythm. In search of a sheer joy and a heart expanding sense of beauty, each painting is a quest for a guilt free pleasure.
