I am happy, joyous even. Each day is another new opportunity to make another creation. A dozen of them. Dozens! It also helps that I love to Fish, Hike, Swim, go Camping and sometimes I am in the right place at the right time and capture something spectacular! I know know that beauty is out there, it's everywhere! If keep your eyes open and look for it. It might be a tiny little rose garden, or a majestic mountain. The magic surrounds us!

| Biggest Artistic Inspiration |
Growing up in the Seventies I was influenced with some of the avant-garde trends prominent in the Sixties. Earth art, a movement that combined environmental and minimalist ideas on a large scale, which was promoted by artists such as Michael Heizer, Walter de Maria, Robert Smithson, James Turrel, Alice Aycock, Claes Oldenburg, and Richard Serra. Massive earthworks like Smithson's Spiral Jetty which challenged all the rules regarding mass, time, size, and space. I enjoyed Land art and environmental art, with variations of earth art. Other notable inspirations for art were illusionism, which sought to surprise viewers and cause them to question their interpretation of reality, and photo realism and hyperrealism, which imitated
photography, created by such artists as Richard Estes and Roger Dean. I admired the Pop Art culture which was represented by artists such as Andy Warhol, David Hockney and George Segal who continued to sculpt his white plaster, such as Three Figures on Four Benches in 1979. My influence from the women's movement was represented by Lynda Benglis, Jackie Winsor, and Judy Chicago, who created the feminist art exhibition, The Dinner Party.

| Why Did You Become An Artist |
My father, who is of the Northern Cherokee Indian Nation tribe, is an artist, therefore I am. From the time I was in my highchair, sketching with my first pastels, to my current "Obsession" with photography, I have always had this burning desire to create "Ojects de Art". Crayons, Colored Pencils, Charcoal, Oil, Water and Acrylic Paint. Ceramics and Clay Sculpture. Almost any craft out there I've tried. I have also dabbled in photography. I recently bought a Kodak Easyshare 12x zoom. It is my new best friend.
