Artist Statement:
Inga Shteinberg was born in Tbilisi Georgia in 1950 in economist family.
In 1968 she started to study in Art Academy and took 4 curses there. She continued education in Moscow in Stroganoff Art Academy, where she was transferred in 1972. In 1974 she maigered Stroganoff Art Academy.
In 1976 she started her Art career in Moscow as a painter. She was participating in major national and international exhibitions, and in 1983 was granted as a member of Art Union of USSR.
She opened her own studio, where she had students, and was active member of Art Union. She was participating as a member of Art Union Jury in Moscow.
In 1992-1996 Inga Shteinberg lived and worked in Art village in Israel. She had a few group and personal exhibitions and was teaching an academic art in
Tel-Aviv
.
From 1997 Inga Shteinberg lives in New York City.
"I.S. Fine Art" was founded in 1999 by The International Artist Inga Shteinberg and offers "Art Gallery" with a collection of oil paintings created in the past century.
