Artist Statement:
My Art has a global dimension:
HUMAN. I observe, interact
with and express the human
being, human component or
anything related to the human,
in time, space (individual or
universal), psychological and
emotional dimensions, and
always having as a reference
point, the center - the point
where the time and space
intersect, "the big crossroad
of the imaginary"-- the
absolute dimension. The
parameters of my art swing
between the human (individual)
dimension and absolute
dimension, as well from detail
to general. The detail, as way
of expression, becomes an
attitude, a way of living, but
always related to the general.
They coexist, justifying each
other.
I focus on subtle
generalities, common
intimacies, and general valid
truths, as: love, longing,
death, hope-- which will never
become over-used subjects,
because they are eternally
embedded in human
nature and we always can
identify with them. Sometimes
at the base of my art work are
more cryptic notions, concepts
- like Time, Space - trying to
communicate and explain
thoughts about these, often
abstract, theories.”...
