Irena Sherstyuk is a Ukraine born, Canadian modern painter who creates dazzling still lives, landscapes and cityscapes using her unique expressive technique.
She was born and raised in Ukraine, not far away from the Black Sea. She've always dreamed to start painting but there was never the time to stop the everyday run of life and try to capture all this on canvas.
She now lives in Ottawa, Canada, and her passion to paint grew to the point where she finally started to do what she loved
Each painting tells a unique story and brings a different mood. Irena Sherstyuk uses her paintings to keep a diary of her life where she describes her world and tells about her loves, dreams and sorrows.
