Jackson Pollock is someone that I should give due respect to for the new perspective and energy he introduced to the american art world. This not only made it exciting to be an American painter at the time but also for future generations like me and some people I know who paint, sculpt, and make prints in the post Pollock Perspective. |

| Why Did You Become An Artist |
I am locked into being an artist by the universe who picks random people to become artists, and their art keeps the human race from destroying itself. This is an abstract goal for mother nature not recognized by many which is why the artist has to suffer. Being an artist is awesome and is extremely fulfilling if you put tons of hours in and maintain integrity. |

| Your Personal Biography |
Jackson Duval Tarver has had a long-standing appreciation for Art in its many forms. He began his formal training in Art at Brookhaven Community College in 1994, and a few years later, earned a degree. He participated in art exhibitions at Brookhaven resulting in requests for his paintings.Has had lots of solo shows and group shows and has always enjoyed having a relationship with the comminty personaly and through his art that communcates on another level to the people he loves fans and nonfans alike. |
