In North-Brabant (Netherlands) Veldhoven I was born in 1949, about 1970 moved to the neighboring Best and developed there from 1983 into classical realistic artpainter.
Continuously experimenting with subjects and resources, studying many paintings and lets criticize my work by a few fellow masterpainters it’s the way I have built my paintingcarrier. In particular, my contacts with the Belgian painter Maarten Boffé have me do more proficient in mastering the technique. I have much admiration for the paintings of the 'Holland and Flemish masters' from earlier centuries, while also some contemporary'classical realist' I follow them with with admiration. The method described above brought me the ability to create realistic paintings at a responsible way. My preference is for the classical genre but sometimes I allow myself sometimes tempted into a more modern version.
Inspiration for my work I put in my immediate environment, the range of beauty is simply very nature, to be found everywhere and inexhaustible in appearance, I believe. In particular situations which are not directly incurred because of human intervention but with time and weather have to assert their influence score high in my perception of beauty. Not only in my work, but in my environment enjoys this aspect my full attention and I try to surround me it and nurture it. My paintings have getting find their way both nationally and internationally. |
