Artist Statement:
Everyone that I have
known in my life has taught me
something or helped me in some
way, and I them. It is a
constant, like the energy that
connects all things. It flows
like water, with no beginning
and no end. Every choice I
make affects everything, good
or bad. One cannot exist
without the other. Like
science, nature, spirituality,
and the philosophical theories
behind them, these thoughts
influence my work. When I
paint live, I try to create an
image from the music and
people around me.

| Biggest Artistic Inspiration |
Some of my biggest artistic inspirations would have to be nature, spirituality, science, and the connections between them. I am also very influenced by intuition, coincidence, and faith in the chaotic symetry of life. |

| Your Personal Biography |
Jason Lee is an artist/designer/curator living in Orlando, FL. He is the second half of BiggsLee Artistic Services and a Florida native, born in Jacksonville on April 21, 1974 and moved to Central FL in 1983. His involvement in the Orlando art community started in 1991 with Boone High School student displays in the Winter Park Art Festivals. Since then he has shown his work and painted live in many venues around Central FL from coffee houses to galleries to the OMA. He has also donated many paintings to charity fund raisers throughout the years.
The arts and sciences, and a love of nature, have always been very prevalent in his life. As time has past, a strong spiritual belief has developed incorporating the connections we all have with the natural world around us. He attempts to express this in his work with fantastic, sometimes surreal, imagery and symbolism. His technique is mostly self taught, with an adoration of many styles of art, and changes from time to time like the seasons. |
