Artist Statement:
I've always been drawn to
nature, in whole or in part —
a beautiful view or a tiny
mouse, a flower or a farm
animal. Influenced by my rural
childhood and present suburban
surroundings, I paint and draw
what's around me, what I know
best. My work is a way to
revisit scenes from my past
and present, to celebrate the
beauty and wonder in nature,
and to allow others to see
things they ordinarily might
overlook....
