| Your Personal Biography |
Born in Sylva, North Carolina in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. Educated at UNC Chapel Hill, BFA 1975 and Cranbrook Academy of Art, MFA 1978. Member, United Brotherhood of Teamsters, Detroit, Michigan, 1978-79. Artist in Residence, Cascade County Rural Schools, 1980-83. Visiting Instructor, Sculpture, University of Montana, Missoula, 1983-84. Chief Preparator of Exhibitions, Washington Project for the Arts, 1984-88. Currently Head of Graduate Studies, Head of Sculpture, Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, Illinois. |
