| Your Personal Biography |
As soon as my parents bought me my first box of crayons I began to draw.
My talent comes from my father. I have seen some of his drawings from when he was younger and it is surprising to see all the intricate details he could fit into a small drawing. Although the talent was there he chose to go into the medical field for a profession.
My parents always nurtured my talent, even to the point of getting me private art lessons from a young age. Art made me feel special. Everyone would be surprised to see a young child with the amount of talent I could show.
After high school I decided that art would be my chosen profession as well as my passion. My parents supported my choice to go to the Ringling School of Art and Design to major in illustration.
After obtaining my BFA from Ringling I started teaching art in the Florida public school system.
I aspire to work more directly in the illustrative field. Preferably creating greeting cards, children's illustrations, or concept work.
