Artist Statement:
Exhilarated by music, I open the door to adventure.
Taking my fine art training to new heights of fearlessness, I enter the world of abstraction.
As the music consumes me, inspiration fills my soul, colors appear in powerful bands of energy and mystical moments of beauty, balancing masculine and feminine energy.
As the painting speaks to me, energetic lines flow like automatic writing.
The epic movement captures the joys of life.
Intense, energized colors and wild motion takes you soaring , breathing in the air of freedom and vitality.
This is the place of inspiration. This is the goal of my life as an artist....

| Your Personal Biography |
As a college student, I was awestruck by Michelangelo’s Sistine Ceiling. Profoundly moved, I thought if art can be that powerful, I must be a part of it. From that day it has been my purpose to visually express this positive explosive energy within me. My art career began with inspired ethereal drawings.
Within months, these drawings received national and international agency representation. As a result, my work was licensed by multiple companies for 15 years, gracing dozens of book and magazine covers, and purchased by hundreds of private collections around the world.
Recently, I’ve been inspired by Picasso’s words, he paints with “the mind of a genius and the freedom of a child.” My Abstract “Music Paintings” have emerged. As I paint to exhilarating songs, my intuitive freedom draws on my classical fine art education to direct the explosive energy that pours onto my canvas.
These new abstracts, which flow like automatic writing, have been in two gallery shows within months of the first completed painting.
I received my BFA in painting from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and my MFA from Lindenwood University in St. Louis, Missouri and the University of South Florida in Tampa.
St. Louis is my home again. I spent my formative years in Brooksville and Tampa, Florida. This led to a life-changing spiritual connection in Sedona, Arizona, followed by the high energy of Los Angeles, returning home where my goal is to electrify and energize the viewer’s spirit.
