Artist Statement:
Johnny Provenzano’s abstract
art integrates a mix of
images, symbols, patterns and
text. Living in Boston,
Massachusetts, Provenzano
paints richly colored canvases
and large-scale murals. He
finds inspiration in music –
especially Jazz and the be-bop
era – the media, technology
and the American landscape.
Like the musician, Charlie
Parker, Provenzano creates the
tension in his composition by
balancing the intellectual
with the spiritual.
Provenzano’s work can be seen
in galleries on the East coast
of the USA....
