Joma Sipe is the artistic name
of João Manuel Pereira, born
at 2 of August of 1974 in the
city of Porto.Joma Sipe is
interested in painting since
very early, never having
carried
through any exposition until
now, understanding to have
fond
the time to show some of his
works and share them with
others.
The painting of Joma Sipe is
based and is inspired in the
Symbolist
Movement of ends of the XXI
Century, that had as main
exponents
Gustave Moreau, Fernand
Khnopff, Arnold Böcklin,
Edward Burne-Jones,
Walter Crane, Dante Gabriel
Rossetti, among others,
including
Johfra. Joma Sipe is
interested in the
pure esoterism and all the art
related with this movement,
being all
his art also influenced for
the mystic aspects included in
legends,
myths and spirituality. Joma
Sipe is also interested in
classic
composers as Wagner and
Beethoven, as well as in
symphonic choral
music, especially some operas
of Wagner, works by Arvo Part
and
some Requiems, being
interested especially for this
last
"musical style". Joma Sipe
loves music by Enya and
Vangelis,
among others composers of
their kind. His First
Individual
Exposition carried through
during the month of July of
