Artist Statement:
Being an artist is the dream
of my life. I've been painting
with acrylics on canvas for
the last ten years. I usually
create fantasy images or
landscapes showing natures
beauty with occasional
figures. Besides painting I
have done some drawings,
mostly portraits of people,
animals and some tattoos.
My style could be considered
Impressionism, a few people
have mentioned it reminds them
of Vincent van Gogh. It is my
hope to someday have prints
and limited editions made. I
also hope to do book
illustrations like my favorite
artists Michael Whelan and
Keith Parkinson whose vision,
style and skill I greatly
admire. Terry Redlin is
another artist that I hope to
aspire to whose paintings are
full of color, light and
warmth.
My passion is seen in my work
as I create a style that is
unique, using light and color
that radiates warmth, brings
life, mystery and imagination
to the canvas. My style will
continue to be honed as I
always strive to create better
art for all to enjoy....

I guess I would have to say Love. My love for God and for the gift he gave me. For the beauty of the world around me which inspires me constantly. My sweetheart whom I love and who is my sunshine. The love I feel to just create something beautiful for others and myself to enjoy. So it comes down to love, the good things in life that inspire me the most. |

| Why Did You Become An Artist |
I'm an artist because I was born to be one. Both my parents and my sister are artists so I guess it's in the blood. If I don't create then there is an empty void in my life. When I create that is when everything feels right in the world. It's part of who I am and I can't deny it if I tried. I am what I am. |
