Artist Statement for Jody Ricci
|
|
|
I am a self taught artist living in Switzerland. Born 1962 in New Zealand where I often return and remotivate my focus. My heritage is Maori/Italian and I am passionate about both sides of my cultural background. I mainly paint in oils and acrylics because I love the vibrancy and flow of the medium. My home base is in Surfers Paradise Australia where I spend every Xmas with my husband re-energising in the sunshine. While in Europe due to hubby's work I keep myself very busy researching the wonderful art of the old Masters here.
