Artist Statement:
I use the Hebrew letters from
Bible texts for every single
stroke in a painting.

The letters symbolize the
smallest pre-particles, called
waves or membranes in cutting
edge physics. Physicists
theorize (and agree) that
there are 11 of these
membranes in our universe and
11 corresponding ones in
alternate ones, Thus, 22.
There have always been 22
basic Hebrew letters.

The theology that the words of
God spoken in Hebrew created
the world is held by all the
Judeo-Christian faiths, The
theology that those Hebrew
letters are the building
blocks or physical reality is
also held by all
Judeo-Christian faiths and
denominations, It is mentioned
in the Talmud and Kabbalah,
and is something Moses, David,
Jesus and the disciples all
certainly knew. It is that
basic.

I work to depict what we don't
see - the underlying reality
of the universe, which is both
physical and scientific, yet
has a spiritual genesis.

Until now art has been more
about what is depicted than
how it is depicted.

My work is about the how. It’s
about the strokes, more than
what the image is that the
strokes combine to simulate. I
call this new way of painting,
