Artist Statement:
Rightly or wrongly I do not see myself as an artist who takes photographs or as a photographer who paints.
I see the product of my work as a consequence of the process through which I must go in order to balance my life. Throughout this often arduous process images are dismissed or reworked.
This is a truly organic process making it difficult to plan a piece from start to finish. Every picture I produce is part of me, part of the journey I am making.
I exhibit locally, in galleries and often at craft fairs reaching a wide audience. I have sold works now nesting in private and corporate collections through the UK, the USA and Europe.
I enjoy what I do and enjoy it all the more when I see the pleasure my work gives to others. That is worth more to me than critical praise.

| Your Personal Biography |
Living in the beautiful south western corner of Scotland I am constantly inspired by my environment. My web site will give you a taste of my Scotland, portrayed through a variety of media.
Working from a small studio overlooking woodlands close to the Solway Firth, I specialise in therapeutic art that stimulates, soothes and calms the mind. |
