| Your Personal Biography |
Jason Waskey was born in Washington D.C. in 1970. He was raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and trained as an artist first at Parsons School of Design in New York City, and then received his B.F.A. from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.
He has filled a variety of jobs in the arts field; as a freelance illustrator, an art director for both a newspaper and a comic book company, and also as an instructor for the Art Institute of Seattle. Very recently, Jason was an art director for Microsoft Corporation, until he left to pursue fine art
Jason's works have been exhibited nationally and internationally in both group and solo gallery exhibitions. His art has been seen in numerous publications, including a graphic novel co-authored with writer Devin O’Leary.
