Artist Statement:
What is "Passionate art for the dreamer"?
In my art, I attempt to extend to you the viewer an invitation to visit your day dreams
- your memories. That special place in your heart or perhaps that perfect day.
I believe that art is living and has the ability to affect everyone differently.
Coming from a large French Canadian family, there was always lots of laughter -
music and animated personalities. I was often surrounded with
creative and eclectically colorful people. It was at a young age that I began to enjoy the art of watching people and things, reading my surroundings. I began to draw as a child but was not content with "coloring between the lines".

I could bring it back to life and make it green.
There is beauty in everything and often a child like approach can be the
catalyst to maintaining our longevity and happiness.
Because of this it was only natural that
the progression went from drawing to Impressionist painting.

| Biggest Artistic Inspiration |
I would have to say it is Monet because of his facsination with light. His work is uncomplicated yet perfectly suggested without looking purposeful. Its all in my opinion brilliant and I could look at his work for hours. |

| Why Did You Become An Artist |
I became an artist for a few reasons. One being the theraputic nature, two being the peace and quiet nature of it. But, most importantly because I can take something that effected me and transfer it to something tangible that someone can recognize an emotion in it too and be able to take it to their own space. |
