| Your Personal Biography |
I love expressing myself through vibrant colour and brushstokes and my appreciation of nature and the beauty around us is very dear to me. I strive to express this in my work.
I have enjoyed creating art since my early years growing up in Vernon, BC. After obtaining a Degree in both Fine Arts and Education I worked as a Graphic Designer in Calgary, Alberta. Recently I have chosen a new adventure on the East Coast in Nova Scotia where I continue my graphic design work as well as painting.
I particularly focus on oil painting. I choose to colourfully capture the beauty and delicate nature of flowers in most of my work, but have captured many other subjects as well drawing from the different landscapes around us. Some of my paintings are relatively large in scale and often give an abstracted and magnified view of flowers.
