Artist Statement:
My studio is full, with 30 to
50 paintings in the works at
any given time. I've been a
painter my whole life and an
apprentice at a stained glass
business for 9 years; that
cross pollination, with
mosaic, drawing and collage in
the mix works out just
fantastically. I believe in
moving ahead on a variety of
projects—art, social,
intellectual and personal at
any given time, and heed the
warning: "He that sows
sparingly shall also reap
sparingly."
Through all of my work I hope
to promote empathy and world
view in which entropy and
emergence can coexist; but
most of all, to promote HOPE.
We need an injection of sanity
into our lives, and art can do
that for us all.
