Artist Statement:
Born in Alabama, Kelly had a
love of art ever since she was
a child. Now, residing in
Eastern Pennsylvania, that
love has grown into passion.
Olszyk is an award winning
artist who's education is in
Graphic Design. Her work is
both analytical and intuitive.
Kelly matches her creativity
with story telling. Sometimes
obvious and sometimes the
artist says. "You have to read
into the subject and the brush
strokes equally to see what is
really going on". Her works
are taken from everyday life.
In the present and the past. "
I look at things from a
different perspective,
sometimes a simple shape can
take on a life of it's own and
sometimes the complexity of a
subject can be broken down
into it's purest essence",
says the artist....
