Artist Statement:
A nature-lover and backpacker,
I have found inspiration and
delight in the beauty of
nature. I have traveled
throughout the west, from
southern California to
Colorado, to Alaska and
Canada, photographing some of
the most beautiful natural
scenery in the world.
I have developed my skills
over the years through the
pursuit of nature photography,
as well as through courses and
workshops offered by some of
the more renowned fine art
nature and landscape
photographers of our time.
Viewers comment that they
appreciate my sense of
composition and creative use
of lighting and that my
photographs capture the
beauties of nature in such a
way that they have the
experience of being there.

I work out of my home in
Monrovia California. While I
used to be an avid backpacker,
health does not allow more
than short easy day hikes at
this time. Most of my
Photography nowdays is done on
trips in the motorhome around
the western US.
