Artist Statement:

Kimberly King’s ceramic works
are created within a theme of
nature and ancient myth. The
artworks are related to
respect of ancient ideas of
meditation. Kimberly’s ceramic
work is a process in which an
interpretation of visual
language in sync with spirit
takes place. It is a rhythmic
flow that tells a story with
exquisite detail.

There are some pieces one will
feel compelled to walk around
as if the work is a swirling
magnet. Such pieces open the
mind to a peaceful state, and
ease tension. In most of her
art forms she has incorporated
pattern and relief texture.
Other works she has created
are paintings and natural
found mixed media.
